Summary

Wantable is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Fulfillment Center team at our Los Angeles facility. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with product development, operations, and shipping/receiving, fulfilling a variety of duties. Hard working individuals who are outgoing and eager to pitch in and help will fit best in this role.

The primary working hours needed for this role are 9AM-5:30PM, with ability to work overtime as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Aid shipping and receiving supervisor with product consolidation
• Fill out shipping paperwork on computer as needed
• Help load and unload trucks with pallet jack or forklift
• Organize fabric rolls and materials for PD in warehouse
• Pull fabric rolls for orders as needed
• Pull sample items from cartons, label, and ship to marketing
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent 
• Valid Drivers License 
• Ability to lift 50-60lbs 
• Must speak fluent English 
• Experience with data entry on a Mac computer using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is a plus 
• Ability to communicate effectively with all teams
• Motivation to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Capacity to work well with others
• Easily adaptable to change in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• No warehouse experience necessary, but preferred

Physical Demands 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Daily attendance is necessary. This position requires the employee to be on their feet the majority of the shift. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
