Position overview
- As a Vice President of Healthcare IT Sales (VPS), you will direct and support our expanding organization’s functions essential to sales productivity. This includes optimizing our sales process, setting and managing quotas, developing sales training and a sales implementation program, and recruit and select sales talent. The VPS will work with key members from T2 Tech’s leadership team to understand company strategy to increase net new business and reach clearly established sales targets. This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the division, and it is indirectly responsible for all employees within the division
- Responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the T2 Tech sales team and leading managers of the division.
Primary responsibilities
- Develop an annual sales plan in support of our organizational strategy and objectives
- Provide leadership in implementing sales objectives that reflect our business goals
- Create a robust sales pipeline and actively pursue sales leads
- Partner with T2 Tech Group executive leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement
- Facilitate successful implementation of new sales programs, and foster an organization of continuous improvement
- Work closely with senior leadership to define optimal performance measurements and management programs required to ensure organizational success
- Ensure sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the organization.
- Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for sales organizational effectiveness
- Consistently exceed/meet revenue sales targets
- Regular prospecting and continuous follow up on all potential sales opportunities
- Manage full sales-cycles from opportunity identification to close
- Evangelize and differentiate T2 Tech in competitive selling environments
- Generate demand for T2 Tech through a combination of selling directly to prospects and business partners
- Develop and execute business plans, and develop deal-winning strategies and tactics
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research
- Identify and attend relevant industry functions on behalf of the company to increase brand awareness and identify new sales prospects
- Target and cultivate a professional and consultative relationship with prospects and current client at both the senior executive level and the technology influencer level
- Build, develop and manage the sales team, ensuring communications are coordinated and sales plan objectives are met
Requirements
Requirements
- 7 to 8 years outside sales experience in the healthcare IT services industry
- Rolodex of health system or healthcare influencers or decision maker contacts
- Frequent travel, sometimes more than 50%, with most travel outside LA
- Responsible for promoting and selling our service stack
- Willingness to aggressively seek new clientele to develop pipeline
- Proven track record of business development and capable of advising and negotiating with high level professionals
- Enjoys the energy of business to business sales and seeking their next challenge
- Capable of communicating ideas and a closer of service deals
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- All prospective employees must pass a background check
Preferred
- Some director level, VPS or similar position experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tool
- Currently live or willingly to relocate to the Los Angeles metropolitan
