We are looking for the talent of a Visual Merchandiser Manager US (M/F). As an integral part of Sézane’s US story, you will be expected to help develop the brand with enthusiasm, dedication and style. Your job will be to ensure that each client’s experience across Sézane’s US Addresses is exceptional and memorable, and that our brand ethos is communicated with empathy, heart and a little French touch.
Expected responsibilities:
Guarantee the Offline brand image:
- Guarantee the highest standards presentation of the products while respecting the Sézane DNA and commerciality of the US market (retail, marketing activations, influence activations …)
- Provide customers an exciting and inspiring shopping experience
- Ensure the rotation of racks, mannequins and walls according to the assortment and sell through
- Organize your work according to the needs and priorities of Sézane’s broader global commercial calendar
Collaboration with the VM Global Team:
- Apply the guidelines for racks + mannequins sent by the global team
- Share qualitative photos while adhering to deadlines set by our global team
- Ensure the communication with the VM team if there are local adaptations needed
- Weekly meeting with the Paris-based VM team
Raising awareness and training teams in VM:
- VM point person for all US stores & Marketing activations - Diffuse VM information ( VM standards, trends, etc.)
- Maintain active and transparent communication with the different managers (US team, store managers..) in order to best meet their expectations
- Plan trainings and workshops in stores to identify and develop visual talents
Manage the scenography of the Apartments:
- Ensure the consistent proper maintenance and management of furniture in the store to maintain the highest visual standards, coordinating with global team as needed
- Be responsible for the signage (PLV support, high end printing of signage in store, etc) & merchandising supports & materials
- Ensure the management and follow-up of service providers (flowers, plants, etc.) in collaboration with the global team
- Assist in the sourcing and delivery of scenography material in partnership with our global teams (window vinyls, visual display props, pop-up stores, etc.)
Requirements
You have a minimum 3 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser in retail.
You are accustomed to thinking through every decision with a “customer-first" mindset.
You are a problem solver and an outside-the-box thinker. When the door is closed, you’re already looking for the window
You are passionate and knowledgeable about fashion trends while maintaining a strategic/commercial vision of products.
You are proactive, flexible and motivated/ available to travel 50-70% of the time.
You are open minded, positive and creative, you feel the desire to share and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast environment.
Team Player, you like to participate in all activities contributing to the general objectives of the stores and brand.
You demonstrate strong leadership, through leading by example, and through your ability to find, drive and develop talent in the stores.
There is no task too big or small for you to handle. You are always ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty in order to complete all objectives.
- Salary range: $110,000-$120,000
