About the Role
A biotechnology research laboratory is seeking a mid-level videographer to document groundbreaking research in artificial reproductive technology. This documentary project requires regular on-site filming in San Francisco, with a commitment of 1-2 days per week. While initially a single project, there may be opportunities for extended collaboration based on the project's development.
Responsibilities:
- Film documentary content in a laboratory environment
- Capture high-quality footage of research processes and interviews
- Work within specialized laboratory protocols and guidelines
- Document scientific procedures while maintaining sterile conditions
- Coordinate with research staff to capture key developments
Requirements
- Experience filming in controlled or sterile environments
- Strong portfolio demonstrating documentary or scientific filming
- Proficiency with professional camera equipment and lighting
- Understanding of laboratory safety protocols
- Ability to work in San Francisco 1-2 days per week
- Experience with sensitive or technical subject matter
