Our client, a leading company based in Oakland, California, is seeking a Vice President of Quality Assurance. As the VP of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures
- Establish and maintain quality control standards and processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and increase customer satisfaction
- Lead and develop a team of quality assurance professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide guidance and support to resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance management
- Proven track record of successfully implementing quality assurance strategies and processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with different teams
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
