Full Job Description
Hackman Capital Partners (“HCP” or the “Firm”) is seeking an Investor Reporting and Client Services Vice President who will be responsible for performance communications and all investor reporting materials. Primary responsibilities include the preparation and delivery of quarterly reports, investor notices, FAQs, responding to existing investor inquiries, and general day-to-day maintenance relating to the firm’s high-net-worth investors. The position is well-placed within the Firm and provides high visibility and exposure to a wide range of the Firm’s investments.
The Investor Reporting and Client Services Vice President will report to the Head of Investor Relations and Business Development and join a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative, adaptable, proactive, and outcome-driven team. The candidate will work closely with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, Finance, Legal, and Accounting teams to communicate current investment performance and business strategies to existing investors, and will also liaise with the Firm’s external service providers, such as Juniper Square
Strong, developed, professional oral and written communication skills and demeanor are required. The candidate must have strong finance and investor reporting competencies in the real estate private equity industry.
Requirements
· Investor Relations
o Assume primary IR contact for existing HCP relationships in the United States and Europe.
o Manage and oversee the Investor Reporting Associate with the creation of all investor reporting materials.
o Manage and oversee the Investor Relations Analyst with all high-net-worth investors and investment manager queries and capital raises.
· Investor Communications and Reporting
o Manage HCP investor reporting with Asset Management, Accounting, and Finance teams, including but not limited to, quarterly investment updates, capital call supplements, distribution notices, and other memos.
o Lead, enhance, monitor, and implement industry best practices in terms of the content and quality of quarterly reports and all investor communications.
o Liaise with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure all investor materials are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
o Coordinate with Juniper Square “JSQ” (CRM database) and HCP Accounting, Finance, Legal and Compliance in leveraging JSP as the primary system/source for investor data and communications.
o Serve as a key contact for existing high-net-worth investors and investment managers and respond to their reporting requests or ad-hoc inquiries.
o Work closely with the Finance team to ensure consistency and accuracy of investment-level and fund-level metrics across all investor materials.
o Manage the current database of investor Questions & Answers “Q&A” which is leveraged in response to existing investor inquiries.
o Maintain and update JSQ (CRM database) in a timely manner.
o Track high-net-worth fundraising investor interest and oversee documentation from due diligence to executed closing, including subscription documents, and funding of commitments.
· Marketing and PR
o Assist in building positive exposure and brand awareness for the firm, leveraging the website and social media platforms (such as LinkedIn).
o Prepare applicable information and contribute to the development and circulation of company press releases.
o Manage the HCP external website including updating of information disclosed, news articles, etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s Degree.
· Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in an investor relations/investor reporting role with a real estate investment manager.
· Previous client-facing experience is strongly preferred (specifically with high-net-worth investors).
· Proven track record in managing projects and initiatives in a timely, successful manner.
· Lead through influence across various areas and levels of the organization.
· Highly motivated with sound judgement and a focused attention to detail.
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Salary Range: $175-200k plus Bonus
