Unreal Engine Audio Programmer

We're looking for a talented Unreal Engine Audio Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and enhancing audio functionalities in our games using Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and debug audio systems in Unreal Engine
• Collaborate with audio designers and engineers to create immersive and dynamic soundscapes for our games
• Improve and optimize audio performance and memory usage across different platforms
• Maintain and improve in-house audio tools and workflows
• Participate in regular audio team meetings to discuss and decide on technology strategies
• Stay current on the latest technology trends in game audio and Unreal Engine

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Audio Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in audio programming within the games industry, preferably with Unreal Engine
• Strong knowledge of audio principles, digital signal processing, and audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD)
• Proficient in C++ and experience with Unreal Engine's audio systems
• Good understanding of game development process and workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your audio programming skills and experiences
