Job Description - UI/UX Engineer (Remote)
At Griffin Consulting LLC, we are looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX Engineer to join our team. As a UI/UX Engineer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, as well as ensuring a seamless user experience across our software products. You will work closely with our development team to understand user requirements and translate them into stunning designs that enhance user satisfaction. You will help create amazing user experiences for educational SaaS products with a mobile-first focus. What will you be doing?
- Lead and conceptualize new initiatives for our web and device platforms
- Work with our front-end engineers to design style guides, re-usable components, and a consistent Information Architecture within the product suite
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams continually improve and create delightful experiences
- Communicate design concepts and solutions clearly and effectively.
- Develop user-centered design solutions informed by research, user insights, and industry best practices.
- Present design work to product development teams and leadership, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Collaborate with other product designers to maintain consistency and alignment across the user experience
Design Proficiencies
- Strong design perspective and aesthetic sense.
- Proficiency with common design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Expertise in UX best practices for mobile (iOS, Android) and responsive web design.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including research, product management, engineering, and marketing.
- Ability to translate user research, needs, and product data into informed design decisions.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end design solutions from initial concepts to measurable outcomes.
- Experience presenting work and design rationale to senior leadership, advocating for user needs within business and technology contexts.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment with tools like Jira and Confluence. A portfolio URL or PDF showcasing examples of mobile and responsive web product design.
Technical Proficiencies
- 3-5 years of UI experience front-end web app UI/UX design
- Experience in Angular, HTML5/CSS3, and Material Design is a plus
- Experience in Story Book is a plus Responsive Design & Mobile Design Proficiency with common design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- An expert in rapidly Wire-framing/Prototyping

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to gather user feedback and iterate designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to improve design.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma).
- Experience with front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary Range: $120K-$135K
