Trailer Technician (1322)

The Trailer Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs to Class 7-8 trailers to help keep our customer's fleets moving.

What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like: 

• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting on various vehicles and equipment 

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including; brake repair, air brake systems, shocks, struts, electrical systems, corner nose rails, corner radius, wheel seals, bottom skirts, and top rails. 

• Align wheels and perform suspension work 

• Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify and resolve issues 

• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used 

What our ideal candidate looks like: 

• 3 years' experience as a trailer technician or similar role 

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude 

• Proficiency in brake repair, air brake systems, shocks, struts, and electrical systems 

• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently 

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately 

• Must have a valid Driver's License 

• Must have basic hand tools
