Temporary Employment Attorney - Employment Practice

Direct Counsel is looking for an experienced employment litigation counsel on a temporary basis. Ideal candidate will have experience in cases involving hostile work environment, sexual harassment, discrimination. The attorney must be admitted and in good standing in California.

Requirements

• Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents
• Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations and settlement negotiations
• Make independent decisions and advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters
• Work with experts
• Legal research
• Other projects, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
• The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently

Required Experience for the position:

• Must have a minimum of 4 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State courts
