Technical Authority (Software Engineer)

Auria is looking for a full-time Technical Authority (Software Engineer) to join our team in San Diego, CA!

This is a contingent position pending on contract award.

The Department of the Navy (DON), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) is acquiring support services for the development of networks, infrastructure, data architecture, tools and. The effort is to connect sensors and generally improve networking and data capabilities. Critical is the development of networks, infrastructure, data architecture, and tools and analytics that support the operational and developmental environment that will enable sustained maritime dominance for years to come.

Salary Range: $98,000 - $127,000

Responsibilities:

• The Candidate shall provide recommendations and assistance to the Government during engineering events and with certification related functions required by the mission. Related functions include: systems engineering technical reviews to ensure cybersecurity posture is successfully met at each key program/project milestone and Program Protection Plan (PPP) (includes but is not limited to: cybersecurity strategy, security classification guide, critical program information (CPI), critical technologies (CT), anti-tamper plan, software assurance, and supply chain assessment).
• The Candidate shall also work to identify and document information from each of the functional areas for incorporation into the IATA and assist in the development and presentation of IATA artifacts for efforts in the RDT&E phase of the acquisition life cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in a quantitative field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems. Additional years of experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a formal 4 year degree.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience or certifications in a wide range of software languages
• Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
• Security+ Certification or equivalent
• Secret Clearance

Preferred:

• Master Degree of Science in a quantitative field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience and certifications in a wide range of software languages
• Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
• Top Secret Clearance
