Tax Manager

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Tax Supervisor to join our client's public accounting team of professionals in Indiana. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts. You will also be responsible for providing tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review the work of tax team members
• Prepare and/or review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, foundations, and corporations, with an emphasis on complex high net worth families and middle market operating businesses and real estate 
• Review responses to IRS and state taxing authority letters and notices
• Review state and local excise and personal property returns
• Review federal and state payroll returns
• Review client bookkeeping
• Complete year-end and other tax planning services
• Oversee and complete complex tax research projects
• Develop budgets, processes and systems
• Maintain client relationships
• Problem solving

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting
• CPA certification preferred
• Bachelor's Degree (Masters is a bonus)
• Software experience: ProSystemsfx Tax, fixed asset software, and Advance Flow
