Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Conduct tax research and develop strategies to minimize tax liability for clients
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax documents and information
• Assist in resolving any tax-related issues or audits
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
