Tax Accountant

Hire Resolve is currently headhunting for a highly experienced and skilled CPA - Tax Accountant to join our client's growing CPA team in the Anaheim Area, you will be responsible for preparing tax payments and returns, as well as recommending tax strategies that align with our business goals. It is crucial that you stay updated with changes to tax regulations and laws, and ensure that our company meets tight deadlines.

In this role, you will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining records of tax payments, identifying tax savings opportunities, and liaising with internal and external auditors. Your expertise in forecasting tax predictions and sharing financial data with the accounting department will be valuable in ensuring the company's financial well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Tax preparation of individuals, partnerships and corporations
• Tax planning and research
• Preparation of other tax forms, such as property tax returns, year-end informational schedules
• Examining, reconciling and analyzing financial information, including balance sheets, income statements, etc.
• Identifying tax issues and developing solutions or recommendations

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of Public accounting experience with a CPA firm (or similar)
• Work experience with tax preparation of individuals, partnerships and corporations
• Must know QuickBooks & Excel, knowledge of Lacerte is a plus, but not required
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, handle multiple client engagements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Desire to keep learning and grow in your career
