Supply Chain Intern

TRL11 is a venture backed startup looking to bring cutting edge video technology to the space economy. We are based in Irvine, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Intern who is interested in interning with us for the summer. 

Responsibilities:

1. Support the procurement process by assisting in supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
2. Create RFQs to compile all technical information needed to initiate a competitive bidding process for suppliers
3. Manage quotes and create purchase orders for materials and services
4. Assist in inventory management activities; including purchasing of components/parts for every project
5. Responsible to create an assembly line schedules
6. Track component lead times and engage with vendors to resolve any backlogs that may impact a project timeline

Requirements

1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Supply Chain Management or similar

2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

5. Basic understanding of common commercial terms and accounting practices
