Structural Drafter

DrBalcony, an innovative start-up specializing in balcony and structural engineering, is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Drafter to join our team. As an entry-level drafter, you will work closely with our engineers to create precise technical drawings and plans for various projects. In this role, you will assist in the development of drawings that support our construction and engineering teams in the design and fabrication of balcony structures. You will learn from seasoned professionals and be instrumental in translating engineering concepts into accurate, detailed technical documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and technical plans based on designs and specifications provided by engineers.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in the development of technical documentation, including assembly instructions and material lists.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure that drawings are clear, accurate, and up to date.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, files, and revisions.
• Ensure that drafting assignments are completed within project deadlines and adhere to quality standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest drafting software and industry practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in drafting or a related role (internships and coursework experience considered).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software (experience with Revit or SolidWorks is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of civil engineering or construction principles.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, start-up setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
