Role Summary:
This role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership to analyze financial data, deliver insights to investors, and support the fundraising initiatives essential to our mission. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to financial reporting and investor relations, with a focus on transparency, timeliness, and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial communications with both U.S. and Korean investors, presenting accurate financial health assessments and business performance insights.
- Work closely with the CEO and strategic opportunity directors to prepare, analyze, and convey financial data, ensuring investor needs are met in a clear, professional, and engaging manner.
- Manage end-to-end fundraising efforts, including sourcing and securing new investment opportunities while fostering strong relationships with potential investors.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Korean financial reporting standards and fulfill regulatory requirements in both regions.
- Support strategic planning by collaborating on financial planning, budget oversight, and forecast analyses, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Regularly prepare and deliver detailed, deadline-driven reports on financial performance, funding needs, and projections to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or U.S. accounting certification preferred but not mandatory.
- 8+ years of direct, hands-on experience in financial management, investor relations, and business financial reporting—preferably within technology, healthcare, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in fundraising and presenting financial analysis, with the ability to communicate complex financial data effectively to both U.S. and Korean investors.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build and maintain investor trust and exhibit an attitude geared towards long-term success.
- Strong ethical standards and transparency in all financial dealings.
- Korean language proficiency is required, and English language proficiency is highly preferred.
