About You

We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Strategic Account Manager – Electronics. You will generate and deliver topline revenue growth at Strategic Accounts by building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with global strategic accounts while representing the whole company portfolio, inclusive of products and value-added services.  Also, by leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations – whether directly or through their supply chains – are met by regional business units

In addition, you will:

  • Determine and meet revenue and pipeline growth objectives by developing and revising, annually, a business model consistent with account growth plana, including program goals, growth forecasts, business objectives, and regional initiatives 
  • Complete actionable strategic account plans that meet Dymax standards by mapping account locations and account products, pricing, and supply chains worldwide, then identifying opportunities for transactional sales, promoting performance differentiators, capturing specification approvals, and achieving placement on Approved Vendor Lists
  • Manage and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings by capturing voice-of-customer feedback from Strategic Accounts and communicating strategic needs to business unit teams, ultimately for consideration for development in R&D
  • Foster customer intimacy through Dymax business units by building relationships across multiple business units at Strategic Accounts, identifying growth opportunities and, as the relationship lead, translating these opportunities into collaborative projects between Dymax’ functions and regions and the Strategic Accounts and their supply chains
  • Demonstrate, frequently, Dymax’s value-added advantages have to the Strategic Accounts by road-mapping their progression; developments and objectives against Dymax capabilities, technologies, strengths, outputs, and facilitation services
  • Provide technical support and training about Strategic Accounts with internal stakeholders by liaising with global product managers (GPMs) and AE, BD, R&E, and Production to organize customer development training, and sharing updates, stats, commercial information, and priorities

Requirements

You should have:

  • BS/BA Degree in engineering or science essential, or its equivalency
  • Travel: Frequent, up to 50%, including 2-3 international travel
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic sales experience in B2B environments
  • Experience within the adhesives industry preferred
  • Chemical sales or marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstratable large account wins through innovative practices
  • Ability to influence and persuade cross-functional and global teams essential
  • Proven experience with project management

Salary Range: $122,522 -$153,322

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
