About The Role

We are actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience to lead backend development initiatives, optimize system performance, and drive the scalability of our solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our esteemed team, comprised of experienced professionals from leading tech giants and startups. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will act as an advocate and mentor for your team, solving complex challenges, and driving product success in our fast-paced startup environment.

What You’ll Do

• System Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of complex systems, experimenting with various technologies to identify optimal solutions while maintaining development speed.
• Product Feature Development: Actively participate in product feature decisions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and planning for long-term development and scaling.
• Vision Alignment: Engage in shaping our technical vision, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and strategies.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek and implement improvements in engineering processes, tools, and systems, enhancing scalability and team productivity.
• Talent Development: Play a pivotal role in recruiting and nurturing a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility within the engineering team.
• Mentorship: Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers, fostering a learning environment that encourages growth and innovation.

What You'll Need

• Relevant Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
• Engineering Leadership: Ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions, demonstrating strong ownership and project leadership skills from inception to production scaling.
• Growth Mindset: Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, with a continuous drive for personal and professional growth.
• Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hybrid Work Competence: This role requires on-site work at least 4 days a week.
• Advanced Python Expertise: Extensive experience with Python, particularly in building scalable solutions, is highly valued.
• Frontend Technology Proficiency: Experience with React and other frontend technologies is beneficial for bridging the gap between backend scalability and frontend innovation.
• Machine Learning Application Development: Experience in developing machine learning applications is a plus.
