Staff Accountant - Audit

Our client, a reputable accounting firm, is currently seeking a talented Staff Accountant with a focus on Audit to join their team. As a Staff Accountant - Audit, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of client engagements, performing audit procedures and providing valuable insights to clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
• Perform tests of controls and substantive procedures to assess the accuracy of financial statements
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
• Assist with the preparation of audit reports and other financial documents
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective and efficient audit procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification or working towards CPA
• 2-3 years of experience in auditing
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Benefits

• Salary: $60K/yr - $75K/yr, salary negotiable
