Our client, a reputable accounting firm, is currently seeking a talented Staff Accountant with a focus on Audit to join their team. As a Staff Accountant - Audit, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of client engagements, performing audit procedures and providing valuable insights to clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
- Perform tests of controls and substantive procedures to assess the accuracy of financial statements
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
- Assist with the preparation of audit reports and other financial documents
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective and efficient audit procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification or working towards CPA
- 2-3 years of experience in auditing
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
