Sr. Unreal Engine Developer - Contract Position $45 to $80 Hr. DOE

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Unreal Engine Developer for a contract position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Unreal Engine with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing cutting-edge applications. This role primarily focuses on the integration of our backend microservices which include a speech-to-text, Q&A answering system, and text-to-speech service with tUnreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to integrate our backend microservices with Unreal Engine.
• Take charge of ingesting audio from our text-to-speech service and synchronize it with the animation of a patient avatar's lip movements.
• Ensure the lip-sync and real-time audio output on the web browser are perfectly in sync, providing a seamless user experience.
• Develop and insert a 'mic button' into the UI which, when activated, will send audio data to our backend microservice.
• Design and implement a text box feature, alongside a send dialog function and a real-time transcript history, essentially crafting a small-scale chat system within the application.
• Resolve any technical issues related to these integrations to ensure high-quality, glitch-free performance.

Requirements

• • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Unreal Engine development.
  • Solid experience with real-time audio and video synchronization.
  • Experience in building UI elements in Unreal Engine, including buttons, text boxes, etc.
  • Knowledge of audio streaming and lip-syncing techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
