Full Job Description

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Learning & Development, the Sr. Training Specialist is responsible for the creation, planning and training of Beko retail dealer sales staff, trade partners, builders, and other identified dealer/channel stakeholders through in-person, virtual and with hands-on cooking demonstrations resulting in the application of skills and knowledge to drive sales.

Responsible for the effective delivery of a consistent and aligned learning materials and experience to Beko Area Sales Managers (ASM) through “Train the Trainer” sessions to ensure a consistent and aligned message is delivered by ASM’s (Area Sales Managers) to the market.

Contributes to the establishment and ongoing improvement of training systems and structures. Actively participates through engagement with various Beko departments (Sales, Product Management, Marketing, After Sales/Service) in the development of product knowledge-based training and updates.

  • Direct development, delivery and execution of all product-training curriculums regionally as well as nationally presenting verbally with hands-on demonstrations, virtually, in Dealer and Trade Partner locations and in classroom settings.
  • Supports sales, customer service, marketing and technical education initiatives with goal of increasing knowledge and sales
  • Help to ensure that training systems and procedures support concept needs and reflect best practices of Beko and the appliance industry
  • Assist with launches of all Beko products and programs both in-person and virtually with responsibility for training documents production, design, updates, and delivery including New Product Introduction (NPI) launch, product transitions, supersession, obsolete runouts and of and in the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with peers and other corporate departments related to content development and implementation training delivery capability and encourage personal responsibility for learning.
  • Maintain records of all trainings, participants and their relative progress through activity reports
  • Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepares post-event reports and analysis.
  • Acts as a conduit between product management, marketing, and sales, ensuring information cascades to training document deliverables.
  • Participates in project work relating to continuous improvement of Learning and Development metrics in Sales.
  • Evaluate and recommend new instructional methods and product demonstrations for all educational processes
  • Maintain availability and supply of all necessary training materials and supplies
  • Understand prospective client’s culture, product portfolio, competitive position, financial state, investment plan, organization structure and key decision makers.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador in interactions with customers, ensuring the Beko Home Appliance brand image is always upheld.

Requirements

  • AA degree in business, education, technical or equivalent with minimum 5 years in a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years in a sales or training role in a similar industry with proven ability to deliver effective training within a Sales Environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint a MUST, Photoshop, MS Publisher and Creative Design a plus)
  • 5+ years experience in the production of PowerPoint decks and associated learning and presentation materials
  • Apply motivational delivery skills and active listening techniques
  • Knowledge of principals and methods of adult education and presentation techniques
  • Maintain proper business attire for the position at all times
  • Remote position with domestic travel up to 65%
  • Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident card holder. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Position does not qualify for relocation expense reimbursement
