Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer - West Coast Region

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer at iBASE-t, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services to support our digital manufacturing solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. Your expertise in Azure technologies and DevOps practices will contribute to the success of our products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced with software being deployed on (Azure AKS) Kubernetes and able to do all aspects of architecture/development.
• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to architect and implement scalable and resilient cloud-based solutions.
• Implement and maintain automation for deployment, monitoring, and management of Azure resources.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Azure environments.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers.
• Stay updated with emerging Azure technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services including VMs, VNETs, ExpressRoute, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, etc.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity concepts in Azure.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Salary Range: 135k-160k/ Yearly Bonus
