Special Education Teacher

360 Degree Therapy is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the important responsibility of providing specialized instruction and support to students with special needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique strengths and challenges of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver lessons that align with students' IEP goals and objectives
• Modify instructional materials and strategies to meet students' diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress and make data-informed instructional decisions
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student achievement and well-being
• Provide a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and keep up-to-date with best practices in special education

We are currently looking to hire a Special Education Teacher who possesses the following:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Proven experience in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills
