Software Intern 2025 (Summer Internship)

TRL11 is a venture backed startup looking to bring cutting edge video technology to the space economy. We are based in Irvine, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer who is interested in interning with us for the summer.

Requirements

1. Support the Software Engineers with web-server functionality and control embedded systems over a network.

2. Collaborate with cross functional teams including hardware engineers and product managers, to define software requirement.

3. Design and implement codes adhering to software standards and best practives.

4. Perform unit testugb abd debugging of embedded software to ensure high-quality.

5. Stay up to date with latest technologies and web server technologies

6. Document software design, requirements, test procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain software quality.

Preferred Skills:

• Bacherlor's or Masters in Computer Engienering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency/Understanding with scripting languages
• Experience in developing and integrating in web server
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with Python and Shell scripting
• Strong understanding of version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of effectively managing and tracking changes in codebase.
• Familiarity with branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and code reviews.
