Full Job Description

Company Overview and Job Description Summary:

Oceania International was founded in 2014 and is currently a nine-figure business with triple-digit annual growth. It is engaged in full value chain cross-border e-commerce. We are looking for an energetic part time self-starting Shipping/ Receiving Clerk . The ideal candidate needs to be familiar with FedEx, UPS, LTL and International shipping and willing to learn.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities/Functions:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shipping and receiving area.
  • Engage in clear verbal and written communication with the Director of Logistics and team members.
  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
  • Will store materials and supplies, manage inventory of shipping supplies and products
  • Make arrangements for pick up
  • Forward shipping and receive documentation to the appropriate departments on a regular and timely basis
  • Compare and identify information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Examine incoming shipments, record shortages and correspond with shipping department
  • Will operate lift trucks to move or hoist materials to proper areas.
  • Perform special projects as directed

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Basic math Skills
  • Good oral/written/reading communication skills
  • Must have intermediate computer skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
  • Highly developed sense of organization and attention to detail
  • Mechanical/organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
  • Able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

There are prolonged periods of sitting, standing and working at a computer and on the phone with a headset. Traveling may be required.

Benefits

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
