The Set-up/Break Down staff plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth event operations by setting up and breaking down event spaces. Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces according to specifications, including arranging furniture, setting up equipment, and installing decorations
• Ensure that all event components are properly installed and in working order
• Assist with loading and unloading heavy furniture, event equipment and supplies
• Assist in the breakdown and removal of event components after the event
• Ensure that event spaces are clean and organized before and after the event
• Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth event operations
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements

• Prior experience in event set-up/break down or a similar role
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Attention to detail, ensuring that event spaces are set up accurately and according to specifications
• Flexibility in schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay

• $19.00 per hour
