Senior Staff Accountant

City Wide Facility Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. As a leading management company in the building maintenance industry, we provide solutions to a wide range of facility issues for our clients. This position will play a critical role in maintaining our financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Contract management and independent contractor payables
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Process payroll and payroll tax filings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist with the annual third-party audit
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Provide support to the accounting team as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus) and MS Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
