SnippetSentry is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our talented engineering team. As a Senior SDET, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bugs, and contribute to improving our testing processes and methodologies.
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented SDET who is passionate about testing and has a strong background in test automation, software development, and quality assurance. If you are excited about building robust and scalable test automation frameworks and have a keen eye for identifying and addressing software defects, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and/or software testing.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Javacript and Typescript
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tool Playwright
- Experience with API testing and tools, such as Postman or K6.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with off-shore teams, demonstrating strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills.
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Experience with performance testing and tools, such as k6 or Gatling, is a plus.
