Salary: $170,000 - $200,000

Role Overview:
We're proud to announce that we've partnered with an ambitious fintech company looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their infrastructure team. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams to uphold reliability best practices, streamline infrastructure processes, and ensure the platform’s performance and availability. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco, with in-office work required twice per week.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage scalable, high-availability infrastructure for their platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement reliability standards and best practices.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot potential issues, and ensure system uptime.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead incident management efforts, including response coordination, post-incident analysis, and preventive action planning.
• Create and refine incident response playbooks and escalation processes.
• Work with software teams to enhance reliability through automated testing, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to ongoing learning and development within the SRE team.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field, ideally within fintech or crypto industries.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C#, with a focus on automation.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging systems (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a knack for resolving complex technical issues.
