Senior Project Engineer

BKF Engineers is a leading civil engineering consulting firm that specializes in providing innovative solutions for complex engineering projects. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Project Engineer at BKF Engineers, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including transportation infrastructure, land development, and water resources.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee the design and construction of civil engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Lead a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the progress and quality of construction projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for proposed projects.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction methods for each project.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering civil engineering projects.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Valid driver's license.
