Overview:

TP-Link Systems is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product managers to expand the team. As a Senior Product Manager for Routing, you will be at the forefront of advancing networking.

This role demands a unique combination of technical acumen, networking expertise and product management skills. You'll play a pivotal role executing to our computer networking strategy, working closely with engineering teams to bring innovative products to market. You will be responsible for driving the product strategy and operations, feature functionality and roadmap. In addition to your creativity, you will also rely on interaction with customers and partners to understand requirements and problems. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet market demands, deliver exceptional value, and maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the product strategy, planning, and operations
  • Feature prioritization and trade-off decision-making
  • Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, and product positioning
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and roadmaps - Translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans
  • Work closely with the UI/UX team to define user experience for the product
  • Create content for all stakeholders that are key to your product's success, such as support teams, sales teams, etc.
  • Customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption - Be an advocate for the product internally and externally
  • Engage with customers to gather insights, validate concepts, and understand evolving needs in the computer networking landscape and continually improve the user experience

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in enterprise networking product management
  • Strong technical background with deep understanding of networking technologies, including WAN architectures, cloud connectivity, Cloud/Data Center Networking, security integration, and edge computing
  • Familiarity with standards, protocols, and trends shaping traditional routing solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven ability to work with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud-native networking, NFV (Network Function Virtualization), and SD-WAN orchestration tools.
  • CCIE or CCNP in Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA Preferred

Salary range: $142,000 - $222,000
