We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us deliver impactful features that elevate the Live Transcribe experience. If you’re passionate about creating intuitive, meaningful designs that improve lives, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer at Mighty Fine Apps, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end design process, crafting thoughtful and accessible experiences across iOS and Web platforms. Working closely with the CEO and a collaborative team of developers you’ll develop and refine features that meet the needs of our diverse user base.

This is a part-time, hybrid position, requiring two in-person days per week with flexibility to accommodate your schedule.

Requirements

What Your Role Encompasses

• Lead the full design lifecycle for innovative features, from discovery to delivery.
• Partner with the CEO to identify key problems and opportunities for our users.
• Develop rapid prototypes and iterate on concepts based on user feedback and data insights.
• Design and execute new features, from early-stage ideation to polished, high-fidelity designs.
• Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
• Support and enhance Mighty Fine Apps’ design system by introducing scalable, inclusive design solutions.
• Ensure accessibility (A11Y) and usability are central to every design decision.
• Mentor and influence peers by sharing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of design excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience designing for mobile applications, with a focus on user-centered design and subscription-based models.
• Strong portfolio showcasing case studies that highlight product thinking, user experience, and visual design.
• Proven ability to tackle both loosely defined concepts and narrowly scoped features with creativity and precision.
• Expertise in UX/UI best practices, including information architecture, navigation, and interaction design.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams within fast-paced, iterative environments.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, with a passion for learning and leveraging new tools.
• Familiarity with building and maintaining design systems and ensuring accessibility compliance.
• Ability to translate user research and data into actionable design decisions.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a knack for bringing fresh ideas to the table.
