Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Search Ads

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on transforming the future of Search Ads. As part of a globally recognized tech platform, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive the monetization strategy across multiple apps, including search engines, video platforms, and more. You will play a key role in optimizing ad relevance, improving ad formats, and contributing to the innovative features of the Search Ads ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and optimization of a large-scale Ads system.
• Work on relevance models and strategies, including semantic matching models, active learning, text/photo/video multi-modal ranking strategies, and more.
• Develop and iterate on Ads algorithms using machine learning techniques.
• Enhance Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities for query understanding, including tasks like query classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and bidword optimization.
• Focus on improving CTR (Click-Through Rate) and CVR (Conversion Rate) model accuracy, data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling.
• Research and develop algorithms for Ads pacing and traffic control to optimize ad delivery.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, product strategy, and operations teams to define and refine product features and strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Go, C/C++, Python.
• 5+ years of experience with a strong understanding of domains like Search, Ads, Recommendation, Monetization Products, or Shopping Products.
• Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, ranking systems, or recommendation systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively formulate solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a diverse, global team.
