Job Description: As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and functional aesthetics of our hotel properties. This position requires a blend of creativity, industry knowledge, and leadership skills to oversee the design process from concept to completion. You will work closely with other designers, architects, and contractors to ensure that all design projects align with our brand’s vision and standards for luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development:
- Lead the conceptualization and design of interior spaces for new hotels and renovations, focusing on creating unique, memorable environments.
- Develop detailed design plans, including drawings, mood boards, color schemes, and material selections.
- Ensure that all design elements adhere to established budgets, timelines, and brand standards.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to ensure design vision is maintained throughout the execution phase.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Present design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders, including hotel management and executive teams.
- Work directly with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and manage relationships, ensuring access to high-quality materials and products.
- Respond to feedback and make adjustments to design plans as necessary to meet stakeholder expectations and operational needs.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Stay informed about the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in the hospitality industry.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to represent the company and gather insights that can influence design strategies.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hotel or other luxury hospitality projects.
- Skills:
- Profound knowledge of interior design principles, furniture design, color theory, and space planning.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying design concepts clearly and persuasively.

- Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
