The Senior HR Manager is a member of the Executive Team reporting direction to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As the Senior HR Manager, you will contribute to and lead the execution of human resources strategies and solutions to support the needs of the organization.
This role is in San Diego, CA and will require you to work onsite.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies.
- Create and execute organizational strategies to support company growth and employee development.
HR Tasks:
- Manage parental leave policies and processes.
- Address and resolve general employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Documents Management
- Oversee the signing and management of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Maintain and secure personnel documents and other sensitive materials.
Legal:
- Collaborate with Employment Lawyers to ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Work with Immigration Lawyers to manage employee immigration matters.
Benefits:
- Administer employee health care plans.
- Oversee the company’s 401K program.
Marketing:
- Manage company newsletters and press releases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field, or combination equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of California HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of organizational strategy development.
- Ability to handle sensitive documents and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience working with legal professionals on employment and visa processing.
- Proficient in benefits management, including health care and retirement plans.
- Equally adept at advising, thinking strategically, and executing. Exhibits a roll-up-your-sleeves demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
