Senior General Liability Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior General Liability Attorney for a full-service and leading defense litigation law firm located in San Francisco, Ca. The firm has more than 1100 attorneys, across 44 offices across the United States. They rank among the top 200 law firms identified by The American Lawyer.

This is an excellent opportunity for litigation attorneys interested in developing medical malpractice, nursing home, medical product liability, and related regulatory experience.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited Law School
• Admitted to practice in the state of California
• 8+ years of defense litigation experience
• Experience with catastrophic injury, premises liability, product liability, habitability, and other general defense litigation matters preferred
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Legal project management experience is helpful

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions

The annualized salary range for this position is $175,000 to $235,000
