Position Overview:
A leading, certified garment factory in Vietnam is seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Senior Garment Sales Executive. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a factory with top-tier certifications, including WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, and others required by major global retailers. Specializing in a wide range of apparel categories such as women’s, kids’, juniors’, contemporary, and sportswear, this factory caters to high-demand clients like Walmart, Target, and other major retail chains.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales professional with extensive experience in garment sales and established relationships with prominent retail companies. You will be instrumental in driving business growth by leveraging your network, industry expertise, and understanding of the global apparel market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the factory’s client base in international retail markets, focusing on major accounts like Walmart, Target, and similar retailers.
- Leverage existing relationships and build new connections with key decision-makers in retail and wholesale companies.
- Promote the factory’s capabilities, certifications, and diverse product offerings to attract new clients and secure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the design, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality garments that meet client specifications.
- Identify emerging trends in the global apparel industry and align sales strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Represent the factory at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to showcase capabilities and strengthen relationships.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in garment sales, with a strong track record of working with top retail clients like Walmart, Target, and other large-scale retailers.
- Network: Established relationships with key buyers and decision-makers in the retail and wholesale garment industry.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of garment manufacturing processes, certifications, and global market dynamics.
- Product Expertise: Familiarity with diverse apparel categories, including women’s, kids’, juniors’, contemporary, and sportswear.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of certifications required by major retailers, such as WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, and others.
- Proven ability to manage complex accounts and secure high-value contracts.
