Senior Designer

Omelet, an award-winning, independent creative agency with a growing and exciting client roster, is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and multidisciplinary Senior Designer for its Culver City headquarters location (hybrid, currently 2x week in office). 

You are a designer who is passionate and driven to make work people will care about. Being nimble, entrepreneurial, and collaborative is your preferred way of problem solving. 

You are a student of trends in culture, media, and technology, and relish in finding inventive uses of media to tell stories. You’re eager and capable of going beyond concepting to make your ideas feel real. Equal parts thinker and maker, you’re able to quickly react to insights, data, current events, and design in response to them.  

We are currently hybrid and ask candidates to be based in Los Angeles.

Requirements

General Job Responsibilities

Working cross functionally, you will develop marketing, content and communication ideas, as well as execute designs across a variety of platforms and channels. 

Key responsibilities include concepting and executing on digital visuals, expanding brand books, style guides and visual identities, developing presentation decks, asset creation and management, sourcing imagery, and helping tell powerful stories in a variety of formats.

You will coach and support junior team members throughout the process and work closely with creative leadership to execute and prioritize projects.

Key Qualifications 

• 5-7 years of relevant design experience within a creative agency setting 
• Extensive experience designing across multiple platforms including developing visual identity systems, brand marks and logos, building infographics, and internal and external communications 
• Has an understanding of global and consumer trends with a focus on design and visuals 
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma 
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a creative group to conceptualize, brainstorm, and deliver on new ideas 
• A true multitasker - you can manage and prioritize multiple work streams 
• An interest or knowledge in UX/UI, After Effects and/or Premiere are a plus
