Amprius Technologies develops, designs, and manufactures very high-performance lithium-ion battery cells for advanced applications. Amprius invented and perfected a 100% silicon anode which enables the highest energy density battery cell commercially available in the industry.

General Summary

The Sales Manager, Global Accounts is responsible for maximizing Amprius Technologies’ market share and sales opportunities by promoting product growth and providing development, management, and account direction for assigned accounts. The position is accountable for new and emerging strategic business creation as well as building account relationships at all organizational levels. This role reports to VP of Business Development

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure achievement of sales revenue targets.
  • Establish new accounts.
  • Manage assigned accounts.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships through proactive communication, empathy, and attentive problem-solving.
  • Contribute to establishing and tactically implementing market penetration plans.
  • Reviews, maintains and assures effective implementation and execution of customer contracts.
  • Experience with analyzing and preparing forecasts and estimates
  • Coordinate with internal teams in support of customer requirements and engagement.

    Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
  • Represent Amprius at a tradeshow and other industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or marketing in an electronic-related or other technical industry.
  • Experience interfacing with OEMs and/or Tier-One customers/suppliers.
  • Strong ability and flexibility to successfully work among fast-paced cross-functional teams.
  • Initiates completion of tasks or activities without extensive supervision.
  • Superior communications skills, both locally and globally
  • Advanced negotiation and consultative skills
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Experience with sales analytics
  • Demonstrated success in managing an extensive product portfolio
  • Ability to understand customer needs and develop mutually beneficial solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Project Management or Consulting
  • Experience in Manufacturing sales.
  • Experience in sales data collection and analysis.
  • Marketing and market planning knowledge.
  • Knowledge of target-market industries.
  • Previous budgetary and/or forecasting responsibilities.

 

Travel: Frequent domestic and infrequent international travel.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • On-site in Fremont, CA
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Be able to move or lift up to 25 pounds at a time
  • Use/wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per instructions in the areas of the facility that require wearing appropriate (PPE).

Benefits

  • Comprehensive compensation package includes base salary + generous RSUs. Salary range for this role is $95,000 to $150,000 annually. Base salary will be determined based on knowledge, experience, and education.
