Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Sales Assistant to support the COO in day-to-day sales activities, including marketing and sales strategies, communications, and sales operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge and experience in the sales field while working closely with senior leadership.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain the COO’s schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, ensuring efficient time management.
- Ensure consistent communication of the COO’s image and position both within the organization and externally, maintaining a professional and positive brand presence.
- Provide client support, coordinate events, and attend events to assist in promoting the company’s services and brand.
- Assist with cause-related marketing and special events to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly activity and production reports for the COO, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Assist with market data and client target research in collaboration with sales managers and the COO to identify new opportunities.
- Engage actively in a company culture that emphasizes adherence to company values, high-quality work, and performance excellence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the design and execution of marketing and communications strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships in a customer service-oriented environment.
- Strong creative, strategic, organizational, and personal sales skills.
- Experience in overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- High degree of comfort with technology, including Google Suite, presentations, and report building.
- Very strong organizational skills.
- Very strong oral and written communication skills.
- Very strong ability to move initiatives forward.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communications/PR, or a related field.
