Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned specialty department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient care in the specialty department.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of staff in the specialty department.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Job Requirements:

• Valid CA Registered Nurse License (RN).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience Surgical Services.
• CNOR Certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1 year leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the assigned specialty.
