Resource Planner based in the US

The role of Resource Planner at FPC Global is to ensure efficient and effective allocation of resources across projects and tasks. As a Resource Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling and assigning resources, monitoring resource availability, and making adjustments to ensure optimal resource utilisation. You will work closely with project managers, team leads, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and resource needs, and to develop resource plans that align with project timelines and deliverables.

The Resource Planner will also be responsible for tracking resource utilisation, identifying potential bottlenecks or constraints, and proactively making recommendations for resource allocation adjustments to optimise project outcomes. Additionally, the Resource Planner will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of resource planning processes and tools.

Requirements

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collaborate with project managers and team leads to understand project requirements and resource needs
• Create and maintain resource schedules and plans, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilisation
• Monitor resource availability and workload, and make adjustments as necessary to address conflicts or bottlenecks
• Provide regular reports and updates on resource allocation and utilisation to project stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in resource planning and allocation
• Contribute to the development and implementation of resource planning processes, tools, and templates
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in resource planning and utilisation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and communication of resource plans and changes
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
