About Us:

The Transformation Center serves the inner-healing and deliverance needs of Bethel church in Redding, CA as well as helping clients across the globe. We are the birthplace of the international Sozo ministry. Our current services include Sozo, coaching, and counseling, as well as a variety of specialty services. The Role:

This in-person position is based at our office in Redding, CA. We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk by offering administrative support for both clients and staff: in person, via email, and over the phone.

This is a customer service role, which requires a kind and inviting personality to be successful. You must also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. You must be proficient and comfortable with the use of technology, as our intake and scheduling process is entirely digital through an online client portal system. We are looking for someone to provide excellent administrative support. This role includes lots of learning and we are looking to invest in someone who would like to be a long-term member of our team.


Salary Range: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Requirements

-Schedule

  • The ideal candidate is available an average of 26 hours a week (with a maximum of 29.5 hours per week).
  • Applicants must be available for a combination of 4, 5, and/or 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:45 am & 4:45 pm Monday-Saturday. The schedule is tbd but the ideal candidate will have Monday-Wednesday, Thursday morning, and Saturday availability. 
  • The schedule is subject to change as we try to work with our team's preferences as much as possible. Additionally, we are looking for a flexible team player, willing to cover or switch shifts if needed.
  • Bethel Kids employees and BSSM in person Students are not currently eligible for this position as the schedule will not allow them to honor their existing commitments. However, we hope you'll come back and apply when you graduate as we love working with alumni!

-Starting Date

  • The ideal candidate will be available to begin training in September of 2024.
  • We will work with you to schedule your training hours (approximately 12-15 hours per week) to help prepare you for your regular schedule’s responsibilities. Training hours will last approximately one month, depending on the speed of progress regarding onboarding and learning.

-Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and instruct clients as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Provide support to clients, team, and leadership in person and via phone/email
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Assist clients through the new client process (send paperwork, update online accounts, call to follow up, etc.) until they are matched with a minister and can schedule
  • Assist with billing issues and process payments
  • Review paperwork and discern/strategize which team member to match with the client
  • Schedule appointments
  • Kindly listen to and encourage clients with their current situations, and provide steps for getting started or resources outside of the Transformation Center.
  • Contact emergency services or alert supervisor of any emergency incidents that may be relevant as a Mandated Reporter or according to the Duty to Warn.

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, front office representative, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Macintosh computers, Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers, computers, and copy machines)
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Organizational and stress management skills
  • Multitasking, administrative, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Positive, solution-focused, customer service attitude
  • High school degree; additional certification in office management or administration is a plus
