Full Job Description
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Analyst will coordinate, collect, and interpret data to help the Purchasing Department take actionable steps to improve its performance and meet goals. Their duties will include participation in such activities as invoicing, item maintenance, pricing, and order form creation. This position requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the basic knowledge of Excel, operating systems, and data management.

Compensation: $55,000 to $70,000 annually.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoice and customer billing
- Process Customer Drop Ship invoices from our Vendors
- ERP item data maintenance
- Import centric data into NetSuite
- Update NetSuite or address any issue to maintain SKU
- Update item pricing in NetSuite according to the seasonal production runs
- Build Production Run Order Forms and improve the scaling within them and the communication surrounding them
- Create or improve existing inventory reports
- Check data consistency
- Carry out stock transfers when necessary
- Process design and continuous improvements
- Contribute to the definition of SOP and elaborate working documents
- Propose and implement improvement plans to his perimeter
- Evaluate vendor performance
- Define and report on KPI’s
- Create and implement vendors score card
Requirements
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Team player with the ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
- Understanding of materials and supplies used in the company.
Advanced skills and abilities preferred but not required listed below:
- Inventory management within a cloud-based ERP.
- Knowledge of international trade and transport (road/sea/air)
- Understanding contracts and contract negotiations
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience using a cloud-based ERP system such as NetSuite - preferred.
- Experience using an inventory management system - preferred
Physical Demands:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 10 pounds in all directions.
