Role Summary:
The Property Manager is responsible for the upkeep of our short-term rental properties. This role will include being an expert on the assigned properties, conducting routine inventory, supervising maintenance and performing inspections to ensure we meet guest’s high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert of assigned properties and know the details in depth of how those properties operate
- Routinely inventory household items, furniture, and décor and replace as needed
- Ensure the proper upkeep of assigned properties by reporting maintenance issues, inspecting completed work orders, and supervising maintenance projects.
- Perform checkout damage inspections during turnover and document any discrepancies
- Perform quarterly and annual inspections of assigned properties
- Perform light maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs and batteries
- Be the main point of contact for the owners of assigned properties regarding the property status, condition and availability
- Properly communicate recommendations to owners of how to improve the condition of assigned properties
- Contact, interview, and receive quotes from vendors for property upgrades
- Supervise the completion of property upgrades and issues while maintaining proper communication to the property owner
- Ensure the highest level of property owner retention
- Respond to guest issues at assigned properties during work hours
- Respond to property emergencies after hours as needed
- Assist the operations manager in the building of monthly owner statements and be able to breakdown, discuss, and articulate the information to owners as needed.
- Report the property status of all assigned properties to the operations manager on a weekly basis
Requirements
- Experience in some capacity in the property management industry (preferably vacation rentals)
- Excellent communication skills both, verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook or Google Workspace equivalent tools
- A valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record in addition to reliable transportation
- General knowledge of how to operate technology and mobile applications
- The ability to learn how to operate appropriate management software
- Seeks out and is receptive to feedback for opportunities to improve

- Local candidates or candidates that are willing to relocate at their own expense will be considered.
- Physical requirements - must be able to lift 25 pounds. Property Managers also need to be able to move furniture as needed and exchange small propane tanks.
Benefits
- $25.00 per hour
- Full-time, Hybrid
- Working hours 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday. Work schedule is subject to change based on seasonal and company needs.
