Organization Overview

Founded in 2004, Brilliant Corners provides innovative housing and housing-related services to California’s most vulnerable individuals, with an emphasis on those transitioning from, or at risk of, homelessness or institutionalization. We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes. We implement a broad array of scattered-site, one-on-one supportive housing, and clinical case management programs through partnerships with developmental services, homeless services, veterans’ services, and health care sectors.

Position Summary:

The Supervisor Project Manager will lead complex, high-visibility projects, mentor junior and intermediate project managers, and contribute to developing departmental project management standards.  This role will work closely with the Associate Director and Product Manager to ensure consistency across product lines.  The Supervisor will also lead and develop a team of Project Managers by establishing and monitoring project management standards and best practices, conducting regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions, providing mentorship, and ensuring consistent delivery across all managed projects. 

 

Position Responsibilities 

  • Mentor and guide a team of project managers, providing expertise and coaching, as well as technical support and direct supervision.  
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project management best practices and standard operating procedures across the unit 
  • Optimize project management processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness  
  • Conduct quarterly product line updates with the Product Manager to maintain standards across product lines 
  • Lead problem-solving efforts for critical project issues and assist project managers in completing high-stake projects. 
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and quality control processes for projects and deliverables. 
  • Monitor and assess projects to ensure they meet or exceed quality standards.  
  • Conduct regular audits of project documentation and processes  
  • Lead, manage, and monitor multiple complex, high-visibility projects simultaneously.  
  • Facilitate high-level project meetings and working groups. 
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to Stakeholders, including organization leadership 
  • Oversee resource allocation across multiple projects 
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential roadblocks to project success 

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead roleExpert-level project management skills in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • PMP certification or equivalent required
  • Strong background in non-profit human services
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, high-visibility projects, developing/implementing project management standards, Mentoring and developing junior project managers.
  • Experience in process design, optimization, and business process improvement, working in product development and UIX design
  • Technical proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, Cloud-based project management tools
  • Advanced capabilities in Leadership and team management, problem-solving and analytics. Expert in Communication and presentation, Stakeholder influence, and senior-level negotiation

Physical Requirements

Candidates should have physical mobility for tasks such as standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces. They should be capable of performing stationary tasks like sitting for up to 6 to 8 hours a day.  Additionally, candidates should be able to lift, carry, push, pull light to moderate weights up to 15 pounds safely. Requires mental acuity for analytical reasoning and document interpretation.

 

Salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This position is being offered at $105,000.00 - $110,000.0 annually.
