Project Manager (pre-construction)

fs3|Hodges is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated pre-construction Project Manager to join our team. As a leading project and construction management firm, fs3|Hodges is committed to providing exceptional services and delivering high-quality projects for our clients.

Projects will include tenant improvements, renovation, infrastructure, site work, etc at CSULB.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000

Responsibilities

• Role is as a preconstruction project manager (PM) of multiple projects 
• PM will carry projects through design development and permitting 
• PM will bid projects and process construction contracts 
• Obtain quotes from designers, vendors, consultants, etc. and execute agreements 
• Review all contract documents and ensure all appropriate CSU procedures are used 
• Manage consultant budgets and timelines 
• When ready, projects are handed over to a construction management team 

Requirements

• 5-8+/- years of experience in the construction (pre-construction and/or construction) 
• Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred 
• CSU experience is a plus but not required 
• Experience working for a general contractor on construction projects is a plus 
• Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, +/-5 ranging in value from $2mil to $5mil.
