Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Coordinator - Gas Utilities for the California market.

For this role, we need qualified individuals to oversee and coordinate gas meter and gas line projects. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires expertise in the gas industry, specifically in managing teams and ensuring the successful completion of field projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage gas meter installation and gas line projects from start to finish;
  • Training of employees of what job is needed (gas meter installation);
  • Supervise and work closely with a team of employees in the field;
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards;
  • Provide clear communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders;
  • Report the results of job progress, challenges, and successes to upper management;
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and schedules;
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including safety standards and quality assurance protocols;
  • Assist with problem-solving and troubleshooting issues on-site as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or project coordination, with a focus on gas meter installation or gas line work;
  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License;
  • Hands-on experience working in the field with teams, including gas meter and gas line installations;
  • Certification or training related to gas line installations or gas meter systems (preferred);
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate employees;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
