Full Job Description

A key member of the Albireo team, the Fire Life Safety Project Manager will be responsible for the financial performance and the timely execution of fire alarm, security, and specialty system projects.

  • Provide customer and co-worker support.
  • Supervise direct report employees.
  • Management and coordination of all assigned projects.
  • Monthly Invoicing and project revenue and labor forecasting.
  • Assisting sales reps and estimators with project scope review, development, and system design.
  • Contract review and management.
  • Review and approve system design and budgets.
  • Oversee and manage municipality permit processes.
  • Oversee the performance and schedule installers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure that all work is completed on schedule, per contract, and to specification.
  • Develop, issue, track, and log project RFI’s.
  • Identify, oversee, and manage change order process of project.
  • Monthly labor and material cost forecasting.
  • Material ordering and tracking.
  • Implement, track, and maintain all of Albireo Energy’s, as well as any customer required, safety processes and procedures.
  • Value engineering.
  • Develop and issue sub-contractor quote requests.
  • Maintain, track, oversee, produce customer required project documentation. 
  • Maintain up to date As-Built documentation throughout project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate final Turnover Package to Owner to include, Design documentations, System Backup, Recover and General Use Training,
  • Schedule and provide the project turnover to the service department.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years Construction Project Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the fire alarm industry.
  • Understanding of project life cycles, billing, and financial forecasting.
  • Ability to interpret design documentation.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • NICET II or higher is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of NFPA, IFC, CFC, CBC.
  • Ability to perform System Checkout, Startup and System Commissioning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Project.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to estimate fire alarm, access control, and video surveillance a plus.
  • Effective delegation and scheduling.

Salary Range: $110k-$130k/yr. DOE.
